Syrian storytellers evening
The Nation Building Movement launched the “Ghosn Cultural” program last night, Thursday, July 27, 2017, in the Arts Hall at the movement’s office. The first activity of the Ghosn program was titled “Syrian Storytellers” with the aim of encouraging the role of Syrian women in the field of literature.
The “Ghosn Cultural” program is based on emphasizing the Syrian cultural identity to be a platform for young talents and creativity, and a bridge for communication and constructive cultural dialogue between youth and the creative cultural elite.
Four brilliant female short story writers participated in this event. Their names are (in alphabetical order):
- Professor Iman Sharabati, about her story: Eve and Steve Jobs.
- Professor Rawaa Sanbal, about her story: Salt and Water.
- Professor Malak Qari, about her story: With the Naked Eye.
- Professor: Nada Qanawati, about her story: It was a dream.
The event was coordinated in collaboration with writer Bashar Boutros.
