The “Photo Stories” on the first evening of this year had its own special character imposed by the image of the Euphrates River.

5 participants, who took us with their imagination to their own world, the friends: Fayhaa Jabara, Mayada Mohsen, and Hanin Ahmed, and the friend Omar Sanadiqi, presented us with stories, each with a different character and a distinct idea.

Friend Muhammad Ghrir distinguished himself in his story in a different style by presenting the film (Play), which tells three popular fairy tales circulating on the banks of the Euphrates, documented by the voices of Euphrates mothers. This film was filmed specifically for the evening of photo stories, which was held by the Nation Building Movement on January 12, 2020. We will present excerpts from it on the Stories group.​

The evening photo showed people sitting in a popular café on the banks of the Euphrates near the suspension bridge. These cafés were called “al-Jardaq”. Al-Hawija also appears in the photo, which is made up of islands resulting from the sand deposits left by the river in the middle.
