Yesterday, the Nation Building Movement held its monthly event, “Photo Stories,” to revive Syrian visual memory. Yesterday’s photo dates back to the first half of the fifties in the vicinity of Damascus.

From this picture, we transported our friends (Fadwa Al-Aboud, Rima Aqbani, Muhammad Ghrir, and Mufid Karbaj), each of them to his own world and with different visions.

Visual memory is usually stronger than verbal or auditory memory, but in picture stories it seems different as it combines visual and auditory memory.
