The origin and manufacture of the oud in the Music Enjoyment Club

​ Nation Building Movement held The first evening of the Music Enjoyment Club, as part of the Syrian Wednesday program Today October 23, 2019.​

The evening hosted Mr. Mansour Haidar (oud maker, player and singer) in an open dialogue about the origins of the oud and how it is manufactured. The event also discussed the ancient Syrian art, its components, history and memory.

The evening included a documentary film (filmed by the Movement’s cultural team with Professor Mansour) about the manufacture of the oud, in addition to musical performances on the oud.
