Ghosn Cultural Program
Storytelling evening
Each one of us have their own way of resisting war, and some of us resort to their pen and their word, as their only weapons in facing all the challenges that life throws at us, so the texts that we write, of all kinds, become the only echo of our voice.
This is what made the voices of three young female storytellers rise to tell us some of what they experienced during the evening held on Tuesday 27/2/2018 for (Marwa Melhem, Dima Sarhan, and Mariam Nahlawi).
The evening comes within the activities of the "Ghosn Cultural Program" at the movement's headquarters in Damascus, as a continuation of the program's attempt to create greater communication between creative Syrian generations, with the attendance of the critic, Mr. (Ahmed Ali Hilal), who emphasized the success of the stories in "breaking the familiarity" of what is read, exceeding the horizon of the recipient's expectations, and constructing the story artistically, by maintaining suspense in the narration, and this is what the majority of the attendees agreed upon, during their extensive discussion about what was presented to them during the evening.
