The magnitude and extent of the disaster multiplied the needs to the point that individual responses were unable to meet them. It was necessary to activate community participation that ensures the involvement of all groups in the response process and its various stages, from monitoring needs and resources, to analyzing reality, in addition to activate participation in planning, implementation, and monitoring processes.

Therefore, the #Syria_is_One_and_its_People_are_One campaign works to bring together stakeholders and actors and support any participatory effort that seeks to respond wisely to this national disaster.​
