The last stories of 2018 were yesterday at the Photo Stories Evening held by the Nation Building Movement to document the Syrian visual memory at the beginning of each month.

Yesterday's photo was of a mission from the Ministry of Culture and National Guidance in the Western Qalamoun Mountains during the time of unity in the late fifties, where it was carrying out campaigns to spread culture and awareness.

Through the eyes of friends, we moved from the past of this image to the present and its transformations through the stories of the participants, “Goal” by Raja Maan, to “Photo Album” by Nahed Mahra, and from there to “Sky and Earth” by Michel Dayeh, and the conclusion was with “Searching for My Mother’s Face” by Lujain Awad.
