The project activities were designed in an integrated manner through a set of dialogue sessions with experts and specialists in the media field, in addition to training sessions, workshops and initiatives carried out by local communities. This process was in parallel with the launch of a media campaign that raises awareness of the concept of local administration and development, highlights all the activities and events implemented in this framework and establishes a media platform, all with the aim of reaching a process of monitoring, encouraging and enhancing community participation and its interaction with the local councils came out from it, in addition to forming, encouraging and supporting community initiatives and local teams that adopt goals that enhance local administration and build peace through development. Accordingly, the "Your Role 2" campaign project in 2022 and the preparation of local follow-up reports and a national report that monitors community interaction with the process of electing local administrative councils can be used to build new interventions.
Foundation Workshop:
A workshop was held to empower 29 local activists and media professionals with the General Elections Law No. 5 of 2004 and the Local Administration Law issued by Decree No. 107 of 2011, and to enable them to read the map of local actors, in addition to increasing their awareness of the importance of building peace and providing them with tools to follow up on the electoral process.
