June 20 of each year is for World Refugee Day, which is a global day designated by the United Nations to honor refugees around the world who have been forced to flee their homeland to escape conflict or persecution. World Refugee Day is also an occasion to build compassion and understanding for their plight and acknowledge With their resilience in rebuilding their lives.

At a time when Syria is one of the countries that suffer most from the refugee crisis in the world, we affirm that without the requirements of peace building, deep national dialogue, and strengthening legitimacy through participation,  ​ (return will remain an illusion and the homeland will remain a dream) ​ ​
